Transformational Yoga is an Integral Yoga system consisting of asana (postures), mantra, meditative techniques, and pranayama (breathwork) to purify the body on four major levels: emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical. Developed by master yogi Swami Vidyanand, Transformational Yoga draws on a variety of ancient yogic traditions to form an innovative approach to dealing with the stresses of modern life, leading practitioners on a journey of integrating the mind, spirit, and body.
What to expect
During a Transformational Yoga class, students will encounter traditional Hatha Yoga postures as well as aspects of mantra, pranayama, and meditation. Class structure remains flexible and adaptive so that each individual has the opportunity to make positive changes to their mind, body, and soul.
Transformational Hatha Yoga was developed by the Yoga Alliance International founder, Swami Vidyanand, in order to create an integral yogic system.
