Ashiyana Yoga fuses the asanas (poses) of Hatha Yoga with various dynamic positions. It strives to promote internal awareness and provide practitioners a fulfilling yoga experience for the mind, body and spirit.
What to expect
Students of various levels can practice Ashiyana Yoga. Classes consist of practicing sun salutations, varied postures, and meditation. During class, students are encouraged to respect their bodies' limitations.
Founder
Chris Nelson developed Ashiyana Yoga after studying the origins of yoga and its many forms during his Sivananda Teacher Training. He is an unconventional teacher whose classes are unplanned, whimsical, and do not follow a set sequence, allowing his creativity to flow.
