Detoxification or “detox” methods have been practiced for centuries in Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and myriad other traditional healing systems. Detox Flow yoga engages the body in deep twists and long holds that stimulate the body’s circulatory, lymphatic and digestive systems, aiding the body’s natural purification processes. Focused breathing exercises help oxygenate the body and clear the mind, encouraging reflection, release of mental blocks, and coordination of mind/body awareness.
What to expect
Detox Flow Yoga is accessible to students of all levels. Postures range from slow and gentle twists and bends to an intermediate-level, flowing practice. Classes may include meditations, reflections, sun salutations, guided instruction, sequences, spiritual awakening, diet suggestions and more.
Detox Flow Yoga was developed by Seane Corn, an internationally-celebrated instructor who travels the world offering conferences, workshops and retreats to promote the message of healthy living.
