Sadhana Yoga Chi draws from a variety of yoga styles, including Power Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga, striving to weave them into a cohesive, balanced practice. Balance is central to Sadhana Yoga Chi: balance between teaching and learning, softness and power, fitness and intellect. The movements of Sadhana Yoga Chi are safe and applicable to all fitness and skill levels.
What to expect
A Sadhana Yoga Chi class will allow you to experience many styles of movement, alternating smooth, graceful, circular motions with powerful, strength-building poses, and flowing and poetic sequences with longer-held, individual yoga postures.
Sadhana Yoga Chi was developed by Doug Swenson to incorporate influences from a variety of different yoga systems into one practice. He began studying yoga in 1969, and has studied with several world-renowned yoga teachers.
