YOGAMAZÉ is a unique style of practicing and teaching yoga developed by Noah Mazé. YOGAMAZÉ classes teach yoga poses in progressive stages, allowing students to achieve the poses correctly at whatever stage their ability allows, while systematically progressing to more refined versions of the poses. Poses are taught with precise instructions, demonstrations, and adjustments to give students a thorough foundational understanding, and then are intelligently sequenced into a dynamic flow.
What to expect
There are three types of YOGAMAZÉ classes: Form, Focus, and Flow. Form and Focus classes are instructionally-based classes that teach yoga poses in precise, progressive stages. Form classes focus on a specific pose or grouping of poses, breaking it down into parts and then reconstructing it, while Focus classes are hot yoga classes featuring a specific, set sequence of poses. Flow classes are vinyasa classes that feature variable sequences, and are more practice-based than instructional.
YOGAMAZÉ was developed by renowned yoga instructor Noah Maze, whose expertise draws from his diverse yoga studies with some of the most prestigious yoga teachers in the world, including Ashtanga Yoga with Richard Freeman, Iyengar Yoga with Pattabhi Jois and Manouso Manos, and Anusara Yoga with John Friend. YOGAMAZÉ is the name of Noah's yoga school as well as his Yoga Alliance RYT certified training program. Certified YOGAMAZÉ teachers can now be found all over the world.
